Available as either reduced or zero tailswing versions, the 8055 incorporates a brand new Tier III Isuzu 35.9kW (48.1hp) engine. This delivers impressive power that is transferred into efficient and effective digging and tracking performance via the load-sensing hydraulic system. The JCB 8055 also manages to combine impressive tearout forces, and high levels of tractive effort and tracking speeds, with superior dump height (4.106m) and dig depth (3.8m).
As you would expect from JCB this is a highly versatile machine. Single-acting auxiliary pipe work to the dipper lets you power breaker attachments; while optional double-acting pipe work lets you switch between single and double, for when you need to power earth drills, for example. The machine is also compatible with a full range of JCB attachments for specific applications.
The 8055’s load-sensed, flow-on-demand hydraulics offer superb straight-line tracking. This gives precise control when positioning next to obstacles or loading/unloading, by allowing safe travel without veering off when a service is operated. The system also automatically controls flow and pressure, providing hydraulic oil to a service only when required, so the engine is never overworked and you save on fuel.
As with all JCB machines, the build quality of the 8055 is second to none, incorporating a robust undercarriage and superstructure that’s designed for maximum reliability and minimum downtime. This machine also offers the best servicing rating of any comparable machine on the market, making cost of ownership incredible low.
The new, improved serviceability is excellent. For regular maintenance, service access points have been grouped together and a remote access panel makes daily checks quick, easy and accessible. Plus, a durable removable floor plate also improves access to hoses below the cab.
