Highly specced as standard, the WORKMAX 800 D offers superior off-road and hill-climb performance and superb power-to-weight ratio.
Put simply, the JCB WORKMAX 800 D is at home anywhere, carrying out more or less any task.
MRRP MACHINE SPECIFICATION
- Engine: 14. 9kw(20hp) Yanmar diesel engine
- 2 speed, 40kph CVT transmission
- Includes bench seat, roof, manual hoist, fenders, speedometer, electric 4wd & diff lock, independent rear suspension, off road tyres
The JCB WORKMAX 800 D is designed to produce results anywhere. As such, we build everything onto a one-piece structure with maximum strength for optimum power to weight ratio. We’ve fitted a smooth, efficient, quiet 14.9kW 3 cylinder liquid cooled Yanmar diesel engine. Selectable electronic 4WD, diff lock and a variable 2 speed CVT transmission help these utility vehicles access remote areas.
A 25mph top speed means this 4x4 utility vehicle can easily keep up with the fastest farm equipment and there’s a 32-litre fuel tank to keep you going for longer between fills. Superb downhill braking is provided by a combination of four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, which automatically engage 4WD for additional safety. What’s more, the hand operated park brake is an independent disc.
Of course, productivity is nothing without durability, which is why we’ve designed the JCB WORKMAX 800 D with the following features to keep it hard at work.
- Standard heavy-duty dual element air filter
- High-mounted air intake allows wading without engine damage
- Sealed transmission to prevent damage to components by rocks and debris
- Kevlar CVT belt for superior strength and durability
To maximise productivity, the operator needs to be as comfortable and confident as possible in the JCB WORKMAX 800 D. That’s why we’ve devised a ROPS-certified spacious interior with a flat floor, loads of leg room, automotive-style controls, easy-to-use accelerator and brake pedals, and digital instrumentation.
A standard 12V socket means operators can plug devices like GPS, air compressors and night lamps into these utility trucks. For protection, there’s standard inertia locking seat belts, a plastic deflector on each side of the vehicle and a roof canopy to keep out the elements.
To make life even easier for operators of the JCB WORKMAX 800 D 4x4 utility vehicle, we’ve made service access very easy.
- Under-bonnet radiator is strategically angled away from impact zones
- Coolant reservoir under the bonnet
- Rubber boots protect CV joints on each wheel
Arguably the most important characteristic of the JCB WORKMAX 800 D is the ability to handle varying terrains. Our utility vehicles do this effortlessly, courtesy of independent rear suspension, with double wishbone ‘A’ arms on the rear and coilover shocks for a smooth, stable and comfortable ride.
Progressive rate springs mean that there’s a smooth ride irrespective of load, and the JCB WORKMAX range even boasts MacPherson strut independent front suspension for maximum shock absorption and minimum body tilt.
Ground clearance is key to successful rough terrain navigation of course, so the 800 D 4x4 utility vehicle has over 265mm of it.
Finally, there’s a choice of 25-inch tyres for the JCB WORKMAX 800 D to maximise traction in any application.
