A concept embraced by 4 Local Authorities, the JCB Academy represents a creative and strategic response to the needs and aspirations of local young people and the region. Securely located in the context of national 14-19 developments the Academy will provide a platform to fulfil Sir Anthony Bamford and JCB’s vision of regenerating Engineering and Manufacturing in Britain.
Situated in Rocester, adjacent to the JCB World headquarters, the JCB Academy will be housed in the unique environment of a former Arkwright Mill symbolic of both heritage and future landscape of engineering. Close proximity to the hub of a multi-national company will facilitate access to a wealth of learning resources in the form of a vibrant working environment, a highly specialist workforce and real workplace challenges.
JCB will be releasing more details in press releases as they become available.
