Replacing the 456 at the top of the JCB wheeled loading shovel range, the 457 wheeled loading shovel was built with the harshest environments in mind, its new Stage IIIB/Tier 4i compliant engine complete with a new driveline efficiency package helping it to produce 16% more power and 18% more torque than our outgoing model, meaning improved roading speed, operator comfort and fuel efficiency on site for you.

Built with the customer in mind, a conventional tail swing design combined with new high-strength undercarriage and a low centre of gravity provide superb stability, improving dig depth and lift capacity to 19% greater than the leading competitor, while a new hydraulic system ensures precise and smooth controllability.

JCB Attachments, who will be demonstrating the new JCB Attachments app, designed to help you the customer improve the versatility and profitability of your machine. And JCB Parts, with information on a specialist 20 tonne excavator tracks and running gear offer.

The JCB Customer Experience Centre that usually has a home at the JCB World Parts Centre will also be setup at Hillhead. Here customers will be able to learn how JCB can help monitor their machines through the use of JCB telematics system, JCB Livelink.

During the exhibition, a selection of JCB models will also perform application-specific roles in the JCB demonstration area.

These models include 457 wheeled loading shovel, the new JS excavator range, JCB Vibromax compaction equipment, utility vehicles, as well as the new JCB skid steer range. Also on show will be the new range of JCB large breakers, and quarry attachments.
