Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) has invested in a fleet of specialist waste handling equipment from local dealer Watling JCB. The deal includes two JS20MH materials handlers, three 437HT Wastemaster wheeled loaders, a 427HT Wastemaster and two 541-70 Wastemaster telescopic handlers, all of which are covered by a five-year repair and maintenance agreement with Watling JCB.

The Pinfold Street site was home to manufacturing for almost 140 years, firstly for agricultural machinery makers Bamfords Ltd and latterly for JCB Heavy Products, which relocated to a new £40 million facility next to the A50 in Uttoxeter in 2008.

JCB Industrial has designed a range of four Teletruk materials handlers specifically for use in the builders merchants sector. The company, which became the 450th member of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) in April of 2014, has worked closely with the BMF to develop the four machines, all of which incorporate an improved list of standard equipment. The machines are the first from any supplier member company to proudly display the BMF logo.
